Mary from California recently funded her fourth charitable gift annuity with Sacred Heart Southern Missions. She included a message with her paperwork saying, “This note is to thank you for allowing me the establishment of one more annuity. I am grateful for the additional quarterly income that it will bring and for what it may provide in the way of contributing to the important needs of Sacred Heart Southern Missions.”

That is the essence of a charitable gift annuity. If you're 60 or older you make a gift of $1000 or more and in return, based on your age, we will offer you monthly, quarterly, semiannual or annual payments for the rest of your life. There is a “gift portion” to each annuity that we can use to fund our work and you receive a tax deduction for that amount in the year in which you fund an annuity! If there is any money left on the contract when you pass that becomes another gift to support our ministry. We even offer two life annuities that you can establish with a spouse, friend or other loved one.
